Alcons Audio will present its award-winning Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience at the 2025 CEDIA Expo, promising its most advanced showcase to date. From September 4–6 at the Colorado Convention Center, visitors can hear the unrivalled clarity and power of Alcons’ pro-ribbon technology in a dedicated demo room.

The Alcons Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience presents an opportunity for CEDIA attendees to engage with Alcons'  proprietary Pro-Ribbon technology and convince themselves on the excellence of the company’s systems for the high-end home theater market..

CRMSQ

 

The new CRMSQ system is a modular 2-way column array system, combining a perfectly natural, dynamic sound reproduction with superb intelligibility and coverage, while drastically reducing the influence of the acoustics in media rooms, custom-installs and cinemas.

 

The two Alcons RBN1203 drivers are mounted in a symmetrical co-axial configuration with four 6.5” woofers. Up to 3 modules can be powered by one amp channel, for more output and control down to the lower frequencies.

 
 

DIRECTOR 6

 

The in-house developed Director amplified loudspeaker controller is the multi-channel drive-engine enabling Alcons pro-ribbon systems to deliver maximum performance in permanent installations.

 

The powerful 8-channel DSP-based controller accepts up to 192kHz digital AES3 signals, driving 8 bridgeable, new generation 750W ClassD amplifier stages.
 
 

CRMSQB

 

The CRMSQB is a modular column bass array system that can be stacked in multiples, making it an ideal building block to form bass arrays, for obtaining low frequency projection and throw control, drastically reducing the influence of the room acoustics. 

 

The CRMSQB with next-gen 12” woofers is available in two versions: The CRMSQB, with CRMSQ width-matching and the CRMSQBsl, with CRMSQ depth-matching, maintaining a 25,4cm / 10-in. system depth. .

CRMS-LFE18

 

The CRMS-LFE18 reference subwoofer system delivers a tight and accurate 1:1 sub response, down to the lowest octaves.

 

The system features an in-room response below 10Hz, enabled by the custom 4-ohms extreme-excursion 18" driver and SIS™ pre-wiring for dynamic cable compensation, regardless of cable length (when combined with SIS™ featured ALC).

The demonstration features a full 11.1.6 channel immersive system, highlighting Alcons’ ability to deliver reference-grade, lossless sound reproduction for private cinema.

At the core are three CRMSQ pro-ribbon line-source columns for the LCR screen channels, each comprising two CRMSQ modules and one CRMSQB low-frequency module.

The system is supported by fourteen CRMSC-SRHV compact pro-ribbon surrounds, ensuring seamless integration across base- and height-layer channels.

For low-frequency extension, eight CRMS LFE18 subwoofers, combined with Double Bass Array processing, provide uniform coverage and response below 10Hz across all seats.

Control and amplification come from 28 channels of Alcons Sentinel four-channel and new Director eight-channel amplified loudspeaker controllers. Together with VHIR™ phase processing, they maintain a completely lossless digital signal path from source to speaker drive, ensuring minimal distortion and maximum fidelity.

 

As with every Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience, Alcons partners with industry leaders to deliver a complete sensory showcase.

Immersive processing is provided by the Trinnov Altitude 32/16 processor, featuring advanced Double Bass Array functionality for optimized LFE performance.

Christie Digital adds a world premiere in home cinema with its CP4425-RGB Laser projector, delivering DCI-compliant projection with integrated Variable Dynamic Range.

This image is further refined by the MadVR Envy Extreme Mk2 for precision tone mapping.

The DreamScreen acoustically transparent X1 projection screen supports the system quality, preserving both image quality and audio performance.   

 

The entire design is engineered by Poes Acoustics and installed by Atlanta Home Theater, ensuring the system is perfectly optimized for the demo environment.

 

Special invite-only demos of the upcoming M-series of pro-ribbon studio reference monitors will take place each day, end-of-day.
