The VR5 is Alcons’ smallest pro-ribbon system to date and the first professional audio monitor that features Alcons patent-pending dispersion technology.

The 2-way system comprises a purpose-designed 5” woofer with Active Coil™ and RBN202 2” pro-ribbon HF driver on a 90° x 60° wave-guide, offering an ultra-clean, benchmark-setting clarity and imaging.

By many often referred to as “studio monitor for the road”.

The QRP20 is a compact 2-way column array system with high-Q directivity for increased projection control, without the need for DSP beemsteering.

Featuring the RBN401 pro-ribbon driver with 4 5” woofers with Active Coil™, it offers a perfect intelligibility and intuitive linear response at any SPL with a 1:15 dynamic range, ultra-low distortion and a maximum “gain-before-feedback”, both in mobile or fixed install applications.

The QRP40 2-way column loudspeaker, loaded with 8 5”woofers and the RBN1203 12” / 30cm pro-ribbon driver, is designed for applications where ultimate fidelity response needs to be projected with wide horizontal and narrow vertical coverage, ideal in acoustically challenging environments. 

The triple 12” QB363 mkII arrayable subwoofer forms the perfect base as slim profile stack system with the QRP40.

8-channel amplified loudspeaker controller

The in-house developed Director amplified loudspeaker controller is the multi-channel drive-engine enabling Alcons pro-ribbon systems to deliver maximum performance in (semi)permanent installations.

The ALC Director features a powerful 8-channel DSP-based controller with 8 bridgeable, new generation 750W ClassD amplifier stages. The 8-in/8-out matrix accepts up to 192kHz digital AES3 signals and can be controlled on-unit via RGB-LED encoder and channel buttons.
