Evolve Sensing - DragonFly 900-2280 nm Spectrometer

Te Lintelo Systems gears up with Evolve Sensing and would like to introduce you here one of their spectrometers.

The DragonFly (DF) Series spectrometers feature advanced digital light processing (DLP) technology, utilizing a programmable digital micro-mirror device (DMD) chip paired with a high-sensitivity Hamamatsu G12180 series 1 mm InGaAs photodiode.

The Hadamard scan mode enhances signal-to-noise ratio by up to 2–7× compared to standard column scanning. A 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4F RISC microcontroller provides fast processing and precise system control.

Powered via USB or UART, the DF Series offers models with optional TEC cooling, exposed circuit boards, or protective housings for flexible OEM and laboratory integration. Covering 900–2280 nm, the DragonFly Series delivers exceptional performance for demanding near-infrared applications.

Princeton Instruments introduce SCION VIS-SWIR Camera

SCION is a cutting-edge, affordable SWIR camera engineered for extreme sensitivity and precision. Its maintenance-free thermo-electric cooling enables long integration times, perfect for capturing both steady-state and dynamic light events. Featuring low noise sensors and broadband wavelength coverage from 0.4—2.5 µm, SCION delivers reliable, extended performance even in the most demanding environments.

The SCION use Teledyne exclusive SWIR sensors
Built on decades of experience designing sensitive IR sensors, SCION features Teledyne’s exclusive VisGaAs and MCT (Mercury-Cadmium-Telluride or HgCdTe) sensors for broad wavelength coverage from 300-1700nm and 900-2500nm respectively. SCION’s wide VIS-SWIR capability benefits a wide range of applications from bioscience, Space & defense and semiconductor inspection.

MantiSpectra Introduces 2 sample kits to explore ChipSense™

Our partner MantiSpectra has created 2 sample kits so you can explore what the ChipSense™ could achieve for you.

The ChipSense™ products family allows professional and consumer electronics OEMs to integrate real-time, low-cost, contactless, and non destructive (bio)materials analysis capabilities directly into their products.

Key Features:

  • Broad Wavelength Range (500 nm – 1700 nm): ChipSense™ unique InGaAs photodetector implementation provides a significantly broader range, unlike traditional InGaAs or silicon-based systems limited to 1050 nm.
  • High Signal-to-Noise Ratio (typically 80 dB): ChipSense™ achieves a significantly higher signal-to-noise ratio than other solutions by integrating InGaAs photodetectors with filters, thereby ensuring precise and accurate predictive results.
  • Multi-Channel, Multi-Peak Architecture: ChipSense™ 16-channel, 4-peaks-per-channel design simultaneously generates rich datasets which combined with ML/AI enable accurate classification and quantification of (bio)materials.

High Reproducibility and Low Cost: ChipSense™ small footprint and standard solid state semiconductor fabrication process makes it suitable for high-volume applications.

You will find the 2 test kits and their info here!

Aggressive blocking and ultra-sharp transition where conventional filters fall short

Andover Corporation Steep Edge Longpass Filters are engineered for applications where conventional edge filters cannot deliver the required spectral separation.

Research-Grade Edge Performance:

Unlike standard longpass filters that require 15–30 nm to transition from blocking to transmission, our Steep Edge filters achieve the sharpest possible transition in ≤1% of the cut-on wavelength (typically 3–5 nm).

Cut-On Slope: ≤1%
Deep Blocking: ≥OD 6.0 stopband rejection
High Transmission: ≥91% average passband
Cut-On Tolerance: ±1% wavelength control
Operating Range: −50°C to +200°C
Built for Stability and Reliability

Magnetron sputtered hard oxide coatings on precision polished UV Grade Fused Silica deliver exceptional environmental durability and spectral stability, without the drift associated with soft-coated or absorbing glass filters. The result is consistent performance, superior wavefront quality, and long-term reliability.

Ideal For:

Raman spectroscopy, fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, LiDAR and remote sensing, and laser line cleanup, any application requiring aggressive spectral separation and maximum signal detection.

Flexible Configuration Options:
Available unmounted or mounted, with custom dimensions, multiple wavelength options (325 nm to NIR), and post-production machining capabilities.

Don't let gradual filter transitions compromise valuable spectral data. Discover our Steep Edge Longpass filter options and capabilities or contact us directly for a custom quote.
