Pockethawk Miniature OEM UV-Vis or NIR Spectrometer

The PocketHawk (PH) Series spectrometers combine compact design with high optical performance, utilizing a Crossed Czerny–Turner optical system for excellent resolution, sensitivity, and low stray light.

Equipped with a linear CCD or CMOS sensor (UV-Vis) or an InGaAs sensor (NIR) and a 32-bit RISC controller, the PocketHawk is engineered for miniaturization and seamless system integration.

The simplified optical engine and external MB-type casing enhance thermal management and stability, while programmable digital I/O and USB connectivity enable easy integration into OEM and laboratory platforms.

Powered entirely by USB, the PH Series supports fast spectral acquisition, calibration coefficient storage, and plug-and-play operation for a wide range of UV-Vis and NIR applications.

SH8 Series ultra-high-speed cameras

SinceVision has officially announced the release of its highly anticipated SH8 Series ultra-high-speed cameras. Equipped with a cutting-edge back-illuminated (BSI) image sensor featuring a massive 20μm pixel size, the SH8 Series is engineered with exceptional hardware circuit design and an efficient data management system.

Specifically developed to meet the rigorous demands of scientific research, aerospace, and advanced process engineering, the SH8 Series ensures that every microsecond of transient motion is captured with crystal-clear clarity.

“We built the SH8 series to eliminate the compromises researchers face in extreme transient events,” said Ethan Fu, Product Manager of High-Speed Camera at SinceVision. “Traditional sensors often encounter obstacles in application scenarios in low light and ultraviolet bands. SH8 breaks this limit. The selected image sensor adopts BSI process, has a large pixel size of 20um, its wavelength response range can reach 250 nm to 1050 nm, and its peak quantum efficiency can exceed 90%. In Binning mode, camera parameters can support up to 640×512@120,000FPS to capture previously unobservable content.”

Next Generation Sunbrick™ Large Area A+A+A+ LED Solar Simulator for Research & Solar Testing

Accurate and repeatable testing requires light that is stable, predictable, and spectrally precise. For many applications, the closer the illumination matches the solar spectrum, the higher the confidence in your measurements. Traditional light sources may enable testing, but often at the cost of frequent calibration, replacement cycles, warm‑up times, and ongoing maintenance.

Filter adjustments, lamp replacements, system shutdowns, and recalibration procedures consume valuable research time—especially in large‑area testing environments where consistency is critical. Even after these efforts, achieving the desired spectral change is not always guaranteed.
Modern LED‑based solar simulation offers a fundamentally different approach. Spectral conditions such as AM1.5G and AM0 can be selected digitally, without physical filters, long warm‑up periods, or recurring lamp validation. Performance remains stable over extended operating periods while maintaining A+A+A+ classification.

This enables continuous, high‑confidence testing for hours, days, or longer—without interruption—allowing engineers and researchers to focus fully on development and innovation.
High‑end A+A+A+ LED solar simulators, such as the G2V SunBrick™, are setting a new standard for scalable, reliable solar simulation.

Reliable Solar Simulation Without Compromise.

Teledyne Introduces the SCION Family of VIS–SWIR Cameras

We are excited to announces the launch of the SCION Family of SWIR cameras—a new line of high-performance, high-volume cameras for demanding applications.

The SCION platform introduces a new class of SWIR imaging solutions with a 10-micron pixel pitch and formats of 640x512 and 1280x1024, combining Teledyne’s decades of high-sensitivity sensor expertise with the speed, agility and cost-efficiency required in hyperspectral imaging, biosciences, space & defense and semiconductor markets.

SCION cameras support a wide range of applications including material analysis, fluorescence measurement, defect detection, and Earth observation. Initial sensor options deliver sensitivity from 300-1700 nm or 900-2500 nm, leveraging Teledyne’s proprietary VisGaAs (Visible-sensitive InGaAs) and MCT (Mercury Cadmium Telluride) sensor materials. These cameras combine wide sensitivity with high frame rates and sample-up-the-ramp (SUPR) capability, enabling sub-one-electron read noise with a one-second acquisition.

the new miniRaman Pro

We are excited to officially launch the new miniRaman Pro — Lightnovo’s next-generation high-performance handheld Raman spectrometer.

The miniRaman Pro was developed to bridge the gap between traditional handheld Raman systems and laboratory-grade Raman instruments, offering significantly improved performance while maintaining true portability and ruggedness.

 KEY TECHNOLOGY ADVANTAGES
✔ Patented Integrated Reference Channel
The miniRaman Pro builds on the known patented built-in reference channel from our miniRaman technology, that continuously verifies and corrects Raman shift calibration during operation. This allows automatic system calibration after each acquisition and minimizes temperature drift and environmental effects.

✔ Stabilized Laser Technology
The miniRaman Pro integrates a stabilized laser source similar to our RG laboratory platforms, delivering significantly improved wavelength and power stability during long measurements and advanced analytical workflows.

✔ Improved Confocality
The upgraded optical architecture and beam expander design provide significantly improved confocality compared to standard handheld systems, enabling better performance in microscopy and advanced sample analysis.

✔ High Power Performance
Available with multimode laser configurations reaching up to 400 mW power for demanding applications including SERS and difficult low-signal measurements.

✔ Expanded Spectral Capabilities

Configurations available in:
• 785 nm
• Dual 785/660 nm
• 830 nm
